Trek North Wales - Offas Dyke Challenge
Sep 06 2014
Take on a marathon with hills as you walk 26 miles of the Offa’s Dyke path in North Wales, through mountains up to 1,818ft high.
Join Team Red Cross for this incredible challenge, now in its fourth year. Not for the faint-hearted, the challenge is to trek 26 miles of the Offa’s Dyke path from Clwyd Gate, Ruthin, to the coast at Prestatyn, following the Clwydian Mountains. The path rises steeply to the highest point of Moel Fammau, 1,818 feet, and then takes walkers through a series of sharp climbs and falls against a backdrop of magnificent scenery.
