The Really Wild Charity Clay Day
May 14 2014
Give your best shot at a Charity Clay Day on Wednesday 14 May 2014 at HighclereCastle in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and Marie Curie Cancer Care.
How it works?
Teams made up of four guns are invited to take part in this most prestigious Charity Clay Day which will be held across 5,000 acres of the HighclereCastle estate in Berkshire.
Each team will be presented with 1,000 ‘birds’, all simulated drives of pheasants, partridges and other game quarry. There will be five drives and chauffeured vehicles will ferry the teams around the estate and then back to the castle for lunch once shooting has concluded.
The day will begin at 8am with breakfast in the castle. Following the morning’s shooting, guests are invited to a champagne reception with entertainment, lunch in the castle’s library and to participate in a live auction with some fabulous ‘money-can’t-buy’ auction lots.
8am: Registration and breakfast in the castle.
9.15am: Team competition commences.
11.30am: Light refreshments on the estate.
1.45pm: Champagne reception and entertainment.
2.15pm: Lunch in the castle followed by auction, raffle and prize giving.
5pm: Close of day.
