The Big Walk
Jul 13 2014
Dementia is a huge problem in the UK, affecting hundreds of thousands of people and their families. Treatments are limited and there is currently no cure.
You can make a big difference by signing up to take part in Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Big Walk 2014 on Sunday 13 July. Back for its fourth year, this family-friendly event, which starts at Milton Country Park, is bigger and better than ever.
Adults £15 children £7.50, under 3 years old free.
The 10k route leads walkers through the Cambridgeshire countryside following the River Cam. The 5k route, suitable for all ages and abilities, winds through the stunning park, including stops by the duck ponds, children’s play areas and café.
You will be greeted by live entertainment, with a host of live acts taking to the stage. There will also be stalls where you can buy gifts, arts and crafts and play games! Bring along a picnic to enjoy a fun filled day. There will also be food to buy on site.
So sign up now, collect that sponsorship and your support will help Alzheimer’s Research UK solve the UK’s biggest health challenge.
