Skinny Dip 2013 - Essex
Take the plunge for Marie Curie
Jun 02 2013
Bare all and set a new world record this summer when you take part in Marie Curie's very first national skinny dip event.
Take part in Skinny Dip, Essex and raise money to support the work of Marie Curie Nurses.
This event will be part of four different skinny dips taking place on the same day for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Following the dip we will be putting on tea's and coffees to help warm up.
Help Marie Curie set a new world record
Join us on the Essex coast, along with hundreds of other participants and set a new Guiness World Record.
In 2011, more than 400 people plunged into the cold sea inSouth Wales, setting a new Guinness World Record for the world’s biggest skinny dip and raising more than £40,000 for Marie Curie.
We plan to make this year even bigger, with three new locations across theUK.
We will aim to get everyone in the water at 7am and to qualify for a world record participants need to be in the water for a minimum of ten minutes.
Please note: the exact location of the skinny dip will be sent to you after your registration has been confirmed.
