Help raise funds for the Alzheimer Society! ....Leading the Fight Against Dementia....
Memory Walks are a series of fundraising walking events taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland every September, all raising money to provide vital support to people living with dementia and help our research to find a cure for the future.
Also if you're interested you can organise your own Memory Walk and we'll provide you with fundraising and training support
Join us at the Leeds Castle Memory Walk taking place in the grounds of the stunning castle this September. The walks will meander around the beautiful parkland of the 19th Castle and there is plenty of opportunity to soak up the history of this venue which dates back to the 12th Century.
This walk will take you through 500 acres of beautiful parkland. On your journey you will see a variety of rare wildfowl exploring the surrounding moat, lakes and woodland. The 3km route is suitable for disabled access as is a tarmac path.
The magnificent setting of Leeds Castle and the distant Kent Downs will spur you on through your walk to the finishing line.
Entertainment and refreshments will be waiting for you and your supporters to enjoy a fun packed afternoon.
Please note that Dogs are allowed in the carpark and site area but not in the grounds of Leeds Castle.
Help raise even more money for Alzheimer’s Society by taking part in the Bupa Memory Mile, comprising the final stretch of your walk. For every walker who takes part in the Bupa Memory Mile, Bupa Care Homes will donate £2.50 to Alzheimer's Society.
