Come and explore The Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on this exciting charity challenge trek. Starting in the “Venice of the Cotswolds”, our challenge covers a distance of either 13 or 26 miles (half marathon and marathon routes) and will take us through charming villages and along River Windrush, using footpaths such as the Gloucestershire Way and the Warden Way. The challenge will be tough, but the rewards so worthwhile!

We meet early morning for event registration in Bourton-on-the Water, followed by event briefing. Bourton-on-the Water is located in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Beauty, also known as “Venice of the Cotswolds” – a great location to start our challenge! Our route heads out onto the Oxfordshire Way through Wyck Rissington and Bledington before joining the Diamond Way. We continue trekking along this route through Daylesford, Adlestrop and heading into Lower Oddington, where our lunch stop and 13 mile route startline will be located. After both distance groups have enjoyed lunch the 13 mile and the 26 mile walkers will continue their challenge along the Macmillan Way before joining Gloucestershire Way then the Warden Way. The final leg of our challenge will join the path along the River Windrush before heading back in Bourton-on-the-Water and onto the finish line.
