Walk on the Wild Side
Come on down to Earth and get active, get outdoors and Walk on the Wild Side!
Jul 01 2012
Sunday 1st July 2012, 10am-4pm
Earth Trust has joined forces with Age UK Oxfordshire to bring you Walk on the Wild Side; a fun family sponsored walk set against the beautiful Wittenham Clumps.
We want to encourage people across the generational spectrum to get active, get outdoors and have fun, all whilst supporting two local charities. Walk on the Wild Side is suitable for all ages and we welcome the whole family (including the dog) to take part.
There is a choice of two walks:
Shorter route (approx 5km) This is a mainly flat, non-challenging walk suitable for all-terrain buggies and those who want a gentler walk
Longer route (approx 8km) This walk is slightly more undulating, incorporating the magical Little Wittenham Wood.
Both routes start and finish at the Earth Trust Centre in Little Wittenham. There will be plenty going on at the Centre, including:
- Delicious refreshments at our Poem Tree Cafe
- Local craft stalls
- Childrens activities
There will be free parking for all at the Centre.
