Leave a gift in your Will
Gifts in Wills fund half our research into cures and treatments for heart and circulatory diseases. Gifts in Wills can save lives and keep families to
Gifts in wills help us tackle the world's biggest killers
There are an estimated 7 million people living with heart and circulatory diseases in the UK. Mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters and children.
Gifts in Wills play a vital part in continuing our research into heart and circulatory diseases and how they're connected. As well as research, we work with decision makers, such as parliamentarians and health system leaders, to ensure the best for patients with heart and circulatory conditions across the UK.
We make it personal
Many staff at the BHF have been directly affected by heart and circulatory diseases. This is why we want as many people as possible to join us to beat heartbreak for everyone, forever.
A gift in your Will has the power to keep your support going. Whatever the size of the gift you leave, it can go so far in helping beat heartbreak forever.
If you're thinking of leaving a gift to the BHF in your Will, thank you. Our guide is here to make it easy to write or edit it, and to save you some money at the same time.
"I know that BHF will spend the money wisely and fund more pioneering treatments and research related to all aspects of improving heart patients’ lives. When I consider what was available in 1968 for my father and compare it to my own experience, I realise the huge impact of research and pioneering treatments. So many current heart patients, like myself, are only alive today because of BHF-funded research.

Make a Pledge
Gifts left in wills are really important to British Heart Foundation. However even if you haven't made a will, making a pledge to do so in the future would really help us to find out about your future intentions.
Pledges are not legally binding so by filling out this form you are not committing yourself! You are simply allowing British Heart Foundation to confidently estimate future support for their cause.
Leave a Legacy
If you have already made a will but you want to leave a legacy to a charity you can make an addition or change it without re-writing your current will. This addition is called a codicil.
To leave a legacy to British Heart Foundation please download the codicil form below and take it along to your solicitor.
Please note however that this form is not legally binding on its own and has to be part of your main will. We advise you to seek the advice of a solicitor.
If you have any questions about leaving a legacy to us, please contact British Heart Foundation directly – they will be happy to discuss this with you.
