Each year Birmingham Children’s Hospital treats 250,000 sick children. Some come to us with life-threatening conditions and are cured by our world-renowned medical teams. Others need emergency medicine after an accident or injury. Still more visit us for more routine operations or treatments.
We try to ensure that every child receives the best possible medical treatment, is looked after in a kind and caring manner, and that their surroundings are suitable for their age and length of stay.
Many of the children in our care are suffering from incredibly rare conditions and without the dedicated paediatric research made possible as a result of donations and legacies, the treatments we could offer would be much more limited.
Whether your gift is for improved equipment, enhanced facilities, patient and staff benefits, or child health research, we are enormously grateful for your help.
