Sheffield Memory Walk
Walk the Sheffield Memory Walk for the Alzheimer's Society
Oct 03 2016
About the walk
This Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. We need thousands of people to walk with us – because arm in arm, step by step and pound by pound, we will get there.
Hope is the spirit of the day
People of all ages and abilities can join in, from grandparents to grandchildren, and even your furry four-legged friends. It’s a day for everyone to come together, celebrate loved ones affected by dementia, and raise money to reclaim the future.
With every step taken at Sheffield Memory Walk, you will help change the lives of people affected by dementia – now and in the future. Register yourself or a team, and start fundraising today!
Sheffield Memory Walk takes place at the Rother Valley Country Park. The route will travel alongside the picturesque lake, across grass, paths and woodland tracks. The 1.5km route goes round a section of the lake, whilst the longer 10km route extends beyond, covering woodland paths. The 10km therefore is not suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The routes are subject to change.
Join thousands of other people who have been affected by dementia at this year’s Memory Walk.
