Action for M.E. is pleased to announce that we are in the early stages of launching a new pilot service that will provide direct advocacy to people affected by M.E. in the Midlands and the South West of England.

Recognising the need to support people who have M.E. in securing help that is available to them, the new service aims to improve the health and well-being, financial stability and self-advocacy skills of people with M.E. It is our ambition that by working collaboratively with professionals as part of this Regional Advocacy Service we will also improve their understanding and help them better meet the needs of people with M.E. in the future.

The charity will shortly begin the process of recruiting an experienced manager to create and develop this long-anticipated service.
