Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch 2016
Reserve your place at the City’s hottest annual Lunch at London’s Guildhall
Apr 07 2016
On April 7 2016, the ninth annual Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch will be held at London’s Guildhall to raise funds for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.
The Lunch, which is hosted by the Lord Mayor of the City of London has raised over £1.4m for The Soldiers’ Charity since 2008, with this money being used to support soldiers and veterans who served in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Why come along?
- Be a part of one of the most hotly anticipated events in the City’s annual calendar.
- Rub shoulders with senior officers of the British Army & our Royal Guest of Honour
- Indulge in delicious curries and unlimited beer and wine
Always a fun event, bring your friends, catch up over a curry and take part in the many activities taking place. These include the Diamond Draw, giving you a chance to win a diamond necklace designed by Susannah Lovis and the opportunity to bid on exclusive “money can’t buy” prizes in the Silent Auction and Draw. New for 2016, you will also have the chance to win a pair of his and hers watches, courtesy of Harold Pinchbeck.
Also attending the Lunch will be senior officers of the British Army; members of both Houses of Parliament; the Ministry of Defence ministerial team and a wide cross-section of City professionals and business leaders. Each year we welcome a Royal Guest of Honour, whom in the past has included HRH The Prince of Wales and HRH The Princess Royal. We will be announcing this year’s Royal Guest of Honour closer to the time of the Lunch.
Many of the Charity’s beneficiaries will be joining us, along with serving soldiers. We encourage you to introduce yourself to them and to learn about their experiences in the Army.
The lunch starts at 12 noon and finishes at 3pm. Tickets are £95, which includes fabulous curries, as well as beer and wine.
