About Us

World Cancer Research Fund is the principal UK charity dedicated to the prevention of cancer through improved diet, physical activity and being a healthy weight.

We are dedicated to providing cancer research and education programmes that expand our understanding of the importance of food and lifestyle choices in the cancer process. So that we can help people uderstand how they can reduce their cancer risk.

By spreading the good news that one third of the most common cancers are preventable through a helathy diet, weight and physical activity and translating our scientific research into practical, easy-to-use tools and advice we hope that many thousands of lives will be saved.

World Cancer Research Fund receives no government funding for its scientific research programmes, so this vital work is only possible becasue of the generosity of individual donations, with legacies being a very important means of support.

Leaving a gift to us in your Will would enable us to continue to learn more about cancer prevention so that even more people can have a healthier, cancer free future  ...What better legacy to leave to your loved ones than a future free from cancer.
