WedAid is a charity set up for couples who wish, instead of receiving wedding gifts, to arrange donations of money, items or indeed their time to others less fortunate than themselves. The main beneficiaries of the charity are schools and orphanages.

Share the love inspired by your wedding (or your engagement)... why not ask guests to make donations to WedAid and help change the lives of children in schools or orphanages where the smallest gifts can make the biggest difference.

Raise funds, donate gifts or even arrange your honeymoon to spend time in the various locations helping to build, paint, create or distribute items received , no previous experience required!
Whatever your contribution, photos of the location(s) who benefit will be posted on our website and here, on Facebook, with thanks to the happy couple who helped make dreams come true.

The formal objectives of the charity are: To advance education, relieve poverty and promote good health of children and young people anywhere in the world, in particular but not exclusively by the provision of money, items and services to schools and orphanages.
