Trinity Hospice Walk 500
Step out in support of Trinity's Nurses

Trinity Hospice is challenging supporters to put together teams of up to 6 people and walk 500 miles for Trinity in their ‘Walk 500’ initiative, which takes place from 18 May to 1 July. Teams can be families, groups of friends or colleagues, and everyone is encouraged to finish the challenge at the Trinity River Walk on 1st July.
Walkers will wear pedometers and attempt to complete this challenge in their daily lives – walking to the station, climbing the stairs in the workplace or doing the morning coffee run, or maybe even a team walk at lunchtime!
Trinity’s community nurses have taken up the Walk 500 challenge. Cathy Maylin, Community Services Manager, is part of the team. She said “We wanted to take part in Walk 500 as providing the best possible care to our patients is what Trinity is all about. What could be better than a team of nurses stepping out to raise money for this fantastic cause?”
Walkers will get sponsored for the challenge and anyone that raises over £150 will go into the 2012 Trinity walker prize draw to win a fabulous gift from Trinity (drawn in August 2012). Trinity will also award any walker that achieves their target with a medal and a certificate.
