Free Expert Training In Leeds - 26th & 27th November

This November, FSI is in Leeds for the first time offering charities thchance to build fundraising and essential charity management skills. We've got some exciting topics available, including Project Management and Governance - read on for more info!

The event offers you a choice of eight free full day training sessions covering a wide range of fundraising and management topics - join us for both days or for just one day.  

Wednesday 26th November

  • Developing Your Case for Support - will empower participants to develop an inspiring internal document that creates a uniform message about why they are important as an organisation, how they make a difference and what people can do to support or get involved.

  • Demonstrating Your Impact - effectively demonstrating your impact to your key stakeholders such as donors, grant makers, partners, trustees, media and staff is essential for securing ongoing support for your work.

     

  • Project Management -  Effective project management need not be an overwhelming process.  This course will provide an overview of key tools and processes you can use to plan projects, set them up and keep them on track.

     

  • Major Donor Fundraising - Will help participants identify, engage and secure major gifts for their charity.

Thursday 27th November

  • Develop Your Fundraising Strategy - will provide a structured road map and relevant tools to enable you to link together fundraising sources and the areas you need to fundraise against, so that you can develop and implement a robust fundraising strategy.

     

  • Developing Corporate Relationships - essential for any small charity looking to identify and develop corporate relationships, this course will look at the different ways companies may get involved with charities.  It will also explore what that corporate supporters will be looking for when choosing which charities to support.

     

  • Fundraising from Trusts & Foundations - will give participants the essential skills and knowledge they need to develop successful fundraising from trusts and foundations.  

     

  • Governance & Board Development - is passion enough? An active, involved and well-trained trustee board is essential for the success of any small charity.  This session is targeted at charity CEOs, Chairs and representative Trustees.  

FSI training courses have a market value of between £295 and £325 per delegate place. All FSI training courses and materials are free of charge to FSI Members, however we make a small charge of £10 to contribute towards refreshment costs.  FSI Membership is free of charge to charities under £1.5m turnover - find out more about our eligibility and membership on our website.
