The Cooke e-Learning Foundation was established in 2005 to help bridge the digital divide by helping more people understand how to go online and get access to modern digital technology. Our charity works to regenerate disadvantaged communities and support people to learn new skills, gain qualifications and seek employment. We provide ESOL training for people who do not speak English as their first language and offer volunteering opportunities and work experience placements for job seekers.

We provide accredited learning in functional skills to assist those people who may be furthest away from the labour market to improve their skills and become more confident about finding employment. We also run an alternative education programme for young people at risk of becoming NEETs to encourage them return to mainstream education or progress into employment or training. As a social enterprise organisation we run a computer recycle and repair service for the general public, local businesses and voluntary organisations. We offer undergraduate placements for De Montfort University and accept PGCE student placements from the University of Bedfordshire. The charity provides work placements for local schools and unemployed adults as IT technicians, reception, administration and classroom assistants.
