The British Academy of Film and Television Arts gathers approximatively 6,500 individuals in the UK and the US across wide collective experience across film, television and games. The BAFTA Group is made of two charitable organisations, one trading company and, since 2007, an independent production company.

BAFTA organises internationally-renowned annual awards ceremonies whilst providing many opportunities for the general public as well as industry practitioners and up and coming talent to find information and inspiration through its year-round programme of events, initiatives and activities.

The organisation is committed to sharing insights into the crafts of the people who work in film, television and games by producing over 250 public events a year across the UK and beyond. This wide-ranging programme of events gives members, the industry and the public many new opportunities to learn first-hand from the greatest practitioners in the business.

The BAFTA is the leading charity in the UK supporting and promoting the art forms of the moving image, ensuring that the very best creative work can be accessed and appreciated by the public.
As a charity, BAFTA is dedicated to helping the next generation of creative shine through. The organisation is here to help people become a BAFTA winner of the future. Through major talks and the new events such as BAFTA Guru, the charity offers insights and advice to those who are interested in a career with the arts.
