About Us

Sussex Wildlife Trust is the largest voluntary organisation protecting the wildlife and countryside of Sussex.

The Trust manages over 30 nature reserves throughout Sussex; helps people of all ages to enjoy wildlife and works with landowners, local and national bodies to achieve a better environment within which wildlife can thrive.

The Trust speaks out on all the major environmental issues on wildlife in Sussex, and is an important information centre on habitat, wildlife and conservation issues in Sussex.

Through its courses and events, the Trust educates both children and adults on the importance of the environment.

The Trust depends on members, legacies and donations for the majority of its funds. Please contact us if you would like more information.
