About Us
RAD promotes equality for Deaf people through the provision of accesible services.
We offer specialist support for Deaf people who are old, or have learning disabilities and/or mental health challenges…. and the people who care for them.
By working with Deaf clubs and other self-help groups, we provide Deaf people with places to meet as well as social activities.
We provide sign language interpreters and communication services for every need and a 24 hour emergency service available 365 days a year.
We provide activities and support groups for families with parents and/or children who are deaf or hard of hearing. We also run activities which equip deaf teenagers with skills and confidence for adulthood.
We support Deaf people to achieve independence and provide support for those seeking employment.
Our legal team provide advice in BSL face-to-face and via webcam as well as a money advice and will writing service.
Your gift will help us to continue our valuable work. Thank you.
