Casino Royale charity ball
Oct 19 2013
On Saturday 19 October, Emylie Jennings, the widow of a Special Forces marine who died in Afghanistan is organising a James Bond-themed fundraising ball. The event, taking place at AFC Bournemouth’s Goldstands Stadium promises to be a fun filled night with all proceeds going towards the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund (RMCTF).
Tickets cost £30 or £270 for a table of 10 and include a buffet and complimentary drink. The dress code is James Bond style. Doors open at 7.30pm. This exciting event will also include a raffle, auction, fundraising games, casino and entertainment to dance the night away.
As well as working hard to organise the ball, this month Emylie and 12 friends will be trekking up Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to raise funds for this worthy cause. She said: “I want to thank the RMCTF for the support they gave my sons and me just two days after their father died and aim to help other families who may suffer similar circumstances.
