Palace to Palace - West Midlands
Cycle around scenic Warwickshire!
May 19 2013
Palace to Palace West Midlands supported by Allianz, is coming back on Sunday 19th May 2013.
We are delighted to announce that last yearís event raised a phenomenal amount of over £50,000. This has helped our work with hundreds of disadvantaged young people to get their lives on track in the West Midlands.
The unique 45 mile route will take you through the heart of historic Warwickshire giving riders a truly unforgettable experience.
The ride begins in the awe-inspiring grounds of 1000 year-old Warwick Castle and will take you by Kenilworth Castle, one of our most impressive and important ruins in England and through the beautiful old villages of the Warwickshire countryside.
The event finishes back within the grounds of Warwick Castle where riders will be able to rest and recuperate at our End Village and celebrate their achievement with friends and family.
Up to 1,000 cyclists will be taking part as either individuals or part of a team. Palace to Palace is aimed at cyclists over the age of 16 and of all abilities who want to take part in a challenging but fun event.
There is a £35 registration fee per person and we ask all riders to raise a minimum of £45 in sponsorship - that's £1 for every mile cycled.
When you register your place will be confirmed on the ride. The registration fee includes an official event t-shirt and brochure, which will be sent to just before the event, a packed lunch on the day and of course your well deserved medal.
So donít delay register now.
