Noah's Ark Children's Hospice

A children’s hospice service supports families in a flexible way – responding to their specific circumstances, which can vary over time.

Noah’s Ark is an expanding children’s hospice service, seeking to serve an estimated 350 families with a life-limited or life-threatened child, living within the communities of North London (including the boroughs of Barnet, Enfield, Camden, Haringey and Islington). Ultimately, over a ten year period, an estimated 6,000 children, family members and friends could benefit from the support Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice can provide.

In direct response to the needs expressed by our families, we have created, and continue to develop, an innovative range of flexible services designed to meet individual needs. With an active community outreach team, we are currently able to offer support within families’ homes - through our Family Support Programme, Specialist Carers Service and Play Specialist Team. To date, we have supported over 130 families.  In order to be able to complete the ‘circle of care’, a hospice building is needed to complement our community work and provide new, in-house services. A site was acquired in 2010.

Noah's Ark Children's Hospice rely almost entirely upon charitable donations to enable us to continue to provide the service that the children and their families need.  Help support us by making a donation - no matter how small.
