Tandem Skydive Day for Marie Curie Cancer Care - June 2013
Take on the ultimate adrenaline challenge!
Jun 23 2013
Why not set yourself a new and exciting challenge for 2013, and raise money for an incredible cause at the same time?
Marie Curie Cancer Care is giving you the opportunity to take part in that ‘once in a lifetime’ tandem skydive on the Sunday 23rd June at Cockerham near Lancaster.
You’ll jump harnessed to an expert instructor from a staggering 14,000 feet, the highest you can jump from in the UK, so whilst skydiving is a challenge even for the bravest of us, this will be the ultimate hands-free experience for you to really embrace the challenge and enjoy the thrill and exhilaration of the ride.
By taking this epic step outside your comfort zone for a few seconds / minutes, the monies you raise by taking part in this jump will help to fund many hours of specialist nursing care, to allow people with terminal cancer and other illnesses to be cared for at the end of their life within the comfort of their own home, surrounded by their family.
So join myself, Sam James, your local event fundraiser on the 23rd June for the challenge of a lifetime and help provide nursing care for terminally ill people in your local community.
