Lend your skills, make a difference! Become a member of our trust board and share our unique vision of providing practical and emotional support for children with cancer and their families.
We are a non-profit organization that provides hands-on support and relief for children faced with critical ailments and their families. Liesel Angel Trust was founded in March 2011 by Lovia Ofori-Agyemang and Francis Appiah-Boakye in the name of their only daughter, Liesel Angel, who died on 3rd February 2012 of Neuroblastoma Stage IV childhood cancer. Liesel Angelís parents kept the charity in her memory not only to keep her name alive, but to carry on the good work of supporting other families which they started when Liesel was alive. We provide advocacy, counseling, domestic help, and personal support for critically ill children and their families. As a small charity that is growing, we are looking to recruit more board members.
We are particularly looking for volunteer Trustees with experience or expertise in any of the following areas:
Marketing/IT/ Social Media
Campaigning + Events
Bid Writing + grant writing
