Each year, 1000s of Asian children under the age of 12 months die from illnesses which could be easily treated and prevented. It’s not just natural diseases like cholera and malaria. Human degradation of the environment, and malnutrition often brought on by war-enforced migrations, have a devastating effect on the most vulnerable too.
Through Kids in Asia, you can make a difference. In 2010, our infant health programmes, environmental monitoring and mobile food resources helped save many young lives. And in 2012 we aim to set up, with our community partners, a network of infant welfare clinics. Contribute to our dedicated appeal today and help make this aspiration a reality.
