We’re asking everyone to go the distance for the Interserve Employee Foundation (IEF) or a local charity of your choice. The miles you contribute will help us collectively travel the 24,902 mile circumference of the globe.
Get your colleagues together and organise a swimming, walking, running or cycling event, or go it alone by taking part in a local marathon.
There are no restrictions on what you choose to do, just get moving! Here’s how you can get involved:
1) Choose your activity
Search for local charitable sporting events in your local area on the internet (UK can search here) or ask your team what events they take part in.
We have also created an IEF event calendar which will be regularly updated with planned events you can take part in - you can view this by clicking here
2) Get your teams involved!
Inspire others to ‘do the right thing’ and help us reach our goal.
3) Get your kit
Look the part in branded t-shirts. Email firstname.lastname@example.org the number and size of shirts you require. Fees apply.
4) Register your achievements
Email email@example.com your total distance travelled, or the combined distance of your team, after the event has taken place.
Include the total number of Give a Day of Your Time you and your teams logged on MyInterserve, as well as the amount of money raised.
5) Make your donation
We’re asking for a minimum of 10% of all money raised to go towards the IEF.
WHAT IS THE IEF?
The Interserve Employee Foundation (IEF) is organised by Interserve volunteers who are passionate about improving the lives of people in the communities where we live and work. This includes involvement in regional, national and international community, charitable and volunteering activities, through our employee volunteering and grant giving schemes.
You can find out more about the IEF here.
