About Us
I CAN is the charity that helps children with speech and language difficulties across the UK.
One in ten children in the UK has a speech and language difficulty. Some may not even speak their first words by the time they start school.
As a result, these children can have tremendous difficulties learning and developing. I CAN provides a combination of specialist therapy and education in its Early Years Centres and Special Schools, enabling children to learn, develop and reach their full potential.
I CAN also provides information for parents and a programme of training and advice for teachers and other professionals.
