Guide Dogs exists to help people with sight loss lead the life they choose living actively, independently and well.

Every six minutes in the UK, one more person loses their sight. Guide Dogs provides life-changing services to the two million people in the UK living with sight loss.

Nearly two out of three of our life-changing guide dogs are only made possible by gifts left in Wills. Over the past 90 years, we have trained the equivalent of one guide dog every day, which is largely thanks to people choosing to include Guide Dogs in their Will.

As well as breeding and training guide dogs, your legacy could also support people of any age, including children, young people, and their families, to tackle the challenges of sight loss. We offer emotional support, advice on technology and education, mobility and life skills training, as well as large print books. Our My Sighted Guide service also connects people with a locally trained volunteer to help adults with sight loss get out and about.

Leaving a gift in your Will can help to provide our life-changing services and the guide dogs of the future, to ensure thousands more people living with sight loss lead the life they choose. You can make a real difference to those living with sight loss, while still making sure any family and loved ones are taken care of first.
