Sophia Walne, 14, has been chosen to represent the Scouts at an international jamboree in Japan next year and needs to raise at least £3,500 to go.
This money goes to help the disadvantaged and those from developing countries from the across the world to attend as well as fund her own trip.
The visit includes attending a commemorative service at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial - marking 70 years ago after the atom drop fell at the end of the Second World War.
The event aims to give young people an opportunity to learn about other cultures and share their experiences when they return home. Sophia will also live with a Japanese family and climb Mount Fuji.
Please help. Sophia would be happy to sport sponsorship, provide written copy or blogs with photographs for company publications and promoting how you are helping the cause.
