I will be 47 when I attempt to complete the London Marathon on April 2016.
I am not a natural runner, but am very determined to complete and raise as much money for two very worth while causes.
Pembrokeshire Friends Of Young Onset Dementia (YOD): is a new organisation formed April 2015.
Their aims are to promote and protect good health, and provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of people with YOD and their carers by the provision of information, advice and opportunities for social contact and mutual support.
Cariad: Charity No 1151618
They are a registered charity that was set up by Mrs Sherilyn Hamilton-Shaw, to raise the necessary funding to provide local schools and communities with defibrillators and life saving training.
They chose to do this due to the alarming statistic that 8000 people will suffer a cardiac arrest outside of the hospital environment every year in Wales and at present the survival rate is just 3%.
To date Cariad has supplied more than 180 defibillators to schools, communities and CFR teams.
Thank you for reading and hopefully you can donate something however small.
has been sent a request to be your friend.
