Since being diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia more than ten years ago, I've been given a vast amount: magnificent support, incredible treatment and amazing opportunities to keep living a wonderful life. I relapsed in October 2013 and had a life-saving stem cell transplant in March 2014 from an unrelated donor – perhaps the greatest gift of all.
Not least among the givers are the brilliant charities that have helped me to understand, share and survive what could otherwise have been a devastating illness and its consequences, so here I hope you will help me to give something back, and do a little something for those who face a similar experience.
