The Wychwood Project is a registered charity (No. 1084259) established in 1997 that aims to inspire people to restore and conserve habitats and landscapes within the Wychwood area. The area covers 120 sq. miles and 41 parishes, mostly in West Oxfordshire. Through a wide range of activities, and by partnering with other organisations, we deliver advice, training, events, education and on-the-ground conservation projects. We have a membership of over 700 local members plus many other supporters and a dedicated team of volunteers who run interest groups.  The Wychwood Project is governed by a well-respected board of local trustees and employs a full time Director who is supported by a team of three part-time staff.
