Crohn's and Colitis UK

NACC is the leading UK charity funding research into Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's disease. These distressing inflammatory bowel conditions affect over 150,000 people but their cause is unknown and there is no cure. NACC invites research applications from all around the UK and has an independent panel of experts and lay people to ensure that the best quality research is funded each year. We give grants for medical and scientific research, but we also have a programme of research into the social and psychological impact of the illnesses. We need to have £500,000 every year to develop our research programme.
