For those who go all day without food the school day must seem unending. Concentration and discipline suffer as a result of hunger and the ability to learn is diminished.

A cup of Sosoma, a high protein porridge made from Sorgum, maize and soya sometimes with sugar and/or fish added is a feast for these youngsters.
