Age Concern Manchester was formed over 30 years ago to "promote relief of elderly people in and around the City of Manchester". Governed by a Board of Trustees, the charity is served by employees and volunteers providing a range of caring and supportive services. These include day and home care services for the mentally and physically frail in three of the most deprived areas in England: information, advice and counselling: advocacy and stewardship services for people in residential care and an Ageing Well project. age Concern Manchester also joins with other Age Concerns in campaigning to improve the rights of older people generally
