The Glyndebourne Festival receives no public subsidy and relies on the contribution of members and supporters through box office, subscription income and donations. The Annual Fund helps us to maintain the highest artistic standards, to plan adventurous and compelling repertoire, and continue to attract skilled craftsmen in wigs, wardrobe and props.
In previous years the money raised helped to replace the dimmer system for the auditorium, new cutting and moulding machinery, as well as an extension to our props workshops.
