A children’s hospice service supports families in a flexible way – responding to their specific circumstances, which will vary over time. Within the child’s own home, or in a hospice building, the care team can provide practical, medical or emotional support to the child and their family, free of charge.
At Noah’s Ark we want to develop strong community services (respite play support, community respite care & family support, outreach nurses) and, ultimately, complement our community work with in-house care provision. Our community outreach service delivery has begun, providing positive play experiences for the child (and their siblings) and giving parents a break from their caring responsibilities.
In common with many children’s hospices, Noah’s Ark receives NO financial backing from Government – that’s why we need your support.
