Cycle 50 miles along Edinburgh's twisting, turning streets in the dead of night
Sep 07 2013
Sep 08 2013
Riders will take in the iconic sights of this beautiful city under moonlight – including the Royal Mile, EdinburghCastle and the ScottMonument. The ride goes past Arthur’s Seat, with stunning night views of the city from the Royal Observatory, as well as the Scottish Parliament and HolyroodPalace.
This is a rare chance to see the Scottish capital free from crowds – explore the buzzing night life at Grassmarket and Cowgate and the tranquillity of the Georgian crescents and cobbled streets of New Town.
How does it work?
The ride will take place entirely on roads for ease of access and quality of lighting. The fully marked route includes rest stops with drinks and snacks about every 15 miles. High-visibility vests will also be provided
