ArcelorMittal Orbit Climb
Could you scale the ArcelorMittal Orbit, the UK’s tallest structure to help people in crisis?
Nov 20 2015
Why not join Team Red Cross on our exhilarating stair climb up one of London’s most iconic landmarks. As you climb 455 steps (80 metres) to the top you will experience show-stopping views across London at night.
The ArcelorMittal Orbit, designed by Turner-Prize winning artist Sir Anish Kapoor is a truly unique and spectacular structure set within Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. It is 22 metres taller than the Statue of Liberty and almost six times taller than the Angel of the North.
Take part on your own or as part of a team and help us reach our team target to climb the equivalent height of Mount Everest in Nepal, a massive 8,848 metres and no easy feat. Tackle the challenge at your own pace, and whatever your fitness level you can take part.
Register online at www.redcross.org.uk/orbitclimb for £10. There is no minimum fundraising fee, all we ask is that you raise as much as you can to help the Red Cross in its endeavours both in the UK and abroad.
