Blind Veterans UK - Gifts in Wills Event
Support blind ex-Service men and women with a gift in your Will
Jul 11 2014
Blind Veterans UK Gifts in Wills event on Friday 11th July at Burghley House in Stamford.
Since 1915, Blind Veterans UK (formerly St Dunstan’s) has given invaluable physical and emotional support to blind ex-Service men and women. Whether their sight was lost in action or due to an illness or accident, we work with our beneficiaries and their families – providing rehabilitation and training, support and advice, and creating a thriving sporting and social network for life.
With our unique expertise, experience and comprehensive range of services, we enable them to lead independent fulfilling lives. Our specialist training and rehabilitation centres in Brighton, Llandudno and Sheffield offer blind veterans the chance to learn skills they may have once thought were lost.
We make a lifelong commitment to support blind veterans and all of the services we provide rely upon donations and the generosity of supporters leaving gifts in their Wills. With your help in this way we can give more and more blind veterans the chance to regain their independence and discover life beyond sight loss.
Join us at our event on Friday 11th July. By participating in discussions and presentations, guests will gain an understanding of how the help we provide allows blind ex-Service men and women regain their independence after sight loss. You can also meet our staff and hear directly from our beneficiaries and the difference we have made to their lives.
