BROUGHTON HOUSE CHRISTMAS FAIR - 9 DEC 2012

A big heartfelt thank you goes out to all those friends and staff of Broughton House who very kindly pulled together to make 2012's Christmas Fair a huge success!

Stalls ranged from Hot food, Irish Coffee, Mystery Parcels, Chocolate Tombola and Guess the weight of the Cake (kindly baked and donated by a residents relative) Festive music was provided by the Alan Bracewell Band and played throughout the duration of the Fair.

A staggering £2590.79 was raised in the space of two hours.

The success of the event was given a huge boost by staff of Barclays Bank and Cerebus who not only gave up thier time on the day to man the stalls but who also provided the entire stall content!   

Manchester United generously donated a signed Football which was raffled on the day by young volunteer helpers Laura Saunders & Connor Michaels during the event and was excitedly won by Christine Beaumont (pictured) above.

All in all a social and financial success which could not have been achieved without the many friends and supporters of Broughton House - THANK YOU ALL.
