A gift in your Will
Help us to defeat dementia
Leaving a gift in your Will to Alzheimer's Society is a fantastic way to support our work and will help us to win the fight against dementia..
Whatever your age or circumstances, a gift of any size can change lives in the future. Whether it supports research that could lead to a cure, or whether it strengthens local support services so more people can continue leading their lives with dignity and living as best as possible despite this devastating disease.
Right now 800,000 people in the UK are living with dementia, and this number is set to grow to over a million by 2025. We need to do much more to ensure that everyone who has dementia receives the best possible support, and fund cutting edge research which can bring us the answers we need. A gift in your Will can help ensure this happens.

Free Will Service
Will to Remember
In partnership with Solicitors for the Elderly, our Will to Remember scheme aims to make those decisions much easier for anyone considering making a Will, by providing confidence that the solicitor they choose to appoint will deal with them and their affairs in a supportive and a dementia-friendly way.
Making a Will and planning your financial and legal affairs to ensure a secure future for family and friends is one of the most important things that everyone, at some point in their life, has to consider.
For many, selecting the right solicitor, the uncertain costs and the thought of making decisions around the writing of a Will - with its bewildering array of legal terms - is often seen as a daunting task.
However, by using our Will to Remember voucher scheme, you can confidently choose a local solicitor from one of our approved participating solicitors and receive a discount of up to £150 from the cost of the planning and writing of your Will.
Make a Pledge
Gifts left in wills are really important to Alzheimer's Society. However even if you haven't made a will, making a pledge to do so in the future would really help us to find out about your future intentions.
Pledges are not legally binding so by filling out this form you are not committing yourself! You are simply allowing Alzheimer's Society to confidently estimate future support for their cause.
Leave a Legacy
If you have already made a will but you want to leave a legacy to a charity you can make an addition or change it without re-writing your current will. This addition is called a codicil.
To leave a legacy to Alzheimer's Society please download the codicil form below and take it along to your solicitor.
Please note however that this form is not legally binding on its own and has to be part of your main will. We advise you to seek the advice of a solicitor.
If you have any questions about leaving a legacy to us, please contact Alzheimer's Society directly – they will be happy to discuss this with you.
