Our newly launched Befriending Plus Service offers befriending clients a little more support by enabling our volunteer befrienders to assist the older person with some tasks that any good friend would be happy to do, such as helping people get to appointments or going out for a coffee.  These extras are in addition to the core service of the volunteer befriender visiting an older person once a week for a chat.
