Battersea Charity Ceilidh 6 December 2013
Scottish dancing social in Battersea for a great cause
Dec 06 2013
After the success of our last ceilidh we are back by popular demand for another night of banter in Battersea!
What is a Ceilidh?
It's a Scottish dance. We've got the awesome Fiddle Paradiddle band lined up to guide the evening and get you bouncing around the old mess hall. It's great fun and really social, no experience required, all you need is a healthy willingness to dance and meet new people. Our band caller will explain each dance it's really easy and a lot of fun.
What is African Outreach?
We are a small UK-based charity working in the slum areas of big African cities to improve livelihoods. We have an amazing project currently being delivered in Accra, so good that Harry Styles from One Direction had to go take a look! To find out more, click here.
How can I get involved?
The event costs £15 per person. We sold out last year so please book up early to avoid disappointment. Please make a payment via our charity page by making a donation of £15 here, and you will recieve confirmation of payment via email. Please drop Dan an email to let him know you have made payment.
What are the details?
Bar opens at 6.30 and the music starts at 7.30 and event will finish around 11pm. You can buy lots of great bar food at the venue. Dress code is informal, if you have a kilt or tartan then please bring it!
